The laboratory’s scientific positioning has broadened to include the spatial dimension of social relationships and the study of inequalities in all their forms, drawing on all the disciplines represented in its collective: geography, planning, sociology, psychology, information and communication science, architecture and urban planning. LVMT – City Mobility Transport Laboratory.

It deals with the interactions between urban territories, transport and mobility (daily, tourist and residential). Research is conducted at the intersection of urban planning, geography, economics, sociology, anthropology and engineering sciences. Three lines of research are developed within this laboratory: Line 1 “Practices and representations”, Line 2 “Actors’ strategies and public action”, Line 3 “Urban planning and territories”.
GIS Etudes Touristiques
Link to website: https://gisetudestouristiques.fr A large number of research laboratories, and through them teachers and researchers in the INNTO France network, participate in the GIS Etudes Touristiques. This GIS is supported by the University of Angers and led by ESTHUA Institut National de Tourisme-INNTO France. Launched on May 6, 2019, it aims to structure, strengthen and promote tourism research.
