  • tailored training combining academic and professional courses;
  • professional conferences every Thursday, enabling students to discover the diversity of the equine trade market (saddlery, tack, transport, press, equipment, events, feed, etc.). Professionals come from all over France for short (Equitalyon, Salon d'Angers) and long internships lasting 4 to 6 months, starting in March.

Training objectives

The aim of this course is to train future equine industry professionals in the fields of sales, services and communication. It is aimed at horse and riding enthusiasts who are already riders. It includes courses devoted to :
  • knowledge of the equine industry (history of equestrianism, equestrian institutions, future prospects);
  • mastery of sales management applied to the sector (marketing, negotiation, customer relations, community management, merchandising, product creation);
  • law (commercial, corporate, labour);
  • organization of equestrian events;
  • communication (specialized English, DTP).
  This specialized training program is designed to train professionals :
  • able to implement sales strategies (market research, market prospecting, product marketing);
  • demonstrating expertise in the organization, players, operations, products and services of the equine sector;
  • able to communicate and negotiate in French and English.
  The special feature of this degree, which is highly sought-after by professionals, is that it trains only riders for careers in sales and communication.

Job opportunities professionals

Once you've completed your training, a wide range of jobs in the equestrian field are open to you: sales representative; communications manager; marketing manager; customer manager; product manager; customer care manager; events manager; You can work in a variety of companies in the sector: high-end saddlery, saddlery, equipment, specialized transport companies, food, care products, equine events, specialized press, etc.

Profile of the applicant

The professional license is essentially open to students with a Bac +2 in a business or marketing-related course (DUT, BTS); specialized in the equine industry (LP Management des entreprises équestres, BTSA); in language and economics (LEA) or management with a particular passion for horses. Students from non-business backgrounds must have at least one year's commercial experience. A good command of English (B2/B1) is essential, as is a good knowledge of the equine industry (galop 5 level recommended).
