This program trains professionals in luxury tourism, a highly complex, rich and constantly evolving segment. The program aims to develop skills in management, marketing and the creation of luxury experiences. Students learn to design tailor-made trips for a demanding clientele, with an innovative pedagogy focused on autonomy, creativity and understanding the societal, environmental, technological and territorial challenges of our time.

Training objectives

The Luxury Travel and Lodging (VHL) program trains students to understand the specificities of a segment that caters to a demanding clientele in search of unique experiences, authenticity and top-quality services. In this environment dominated by made-to-measure solutions, the forms of tourism are varied and call for a wide range of services: transport, accommodation, gastronomy, Spa and Wellness, culture, private visits, yachting, sports, etc. Graduates are trained in project engineering, and are able to exercise supervisory functions in the creation of luxury travel and the management of luxury accommodation facilities. Students take part in numerous meetings and visits with industry professionals (travel agencies, hotels, etc.).

On completion of the Master's program, students can work, in France and abroad, in tourism companies and organizations positioned in the luxury segment, such as travel agencies, hotels, châteaux, estates, etc. They can also work in institutions and official bodies (tourist offices, local authorities, regional or central administrations, etc.) that are increasingly committed to promoting their heritage. Profile of the applicant

To enter the M1 program, candidates must hold a general bachelor's degree in economics, management, geography, history, sociology, information-communication, LEA or LLCER. Admission is via Mon Master or Études en France. Candidates are selected on the basis of their application files, and may be required to attend a motivation interview. To enter the M2 VHL program, candidates must have an M1 in Tourism (or equivalent). Admission is by application (e-candidate), professional project and interview.
