Testimonial

Training objectives

The Destination Management (DM) program prepares students to design, manage, market and develop a region's tourism activities in line with the objectives and strategies of each stakeholder. The MD course introduces students to the complex notion of a "tourist destination", which is akin to an ecosystem and a network of localized players. Governance, promotion of the destination's tangible and intangible resources and assets, its presence on the Internet and social media, its development and innovation strategy, as well as its ability to take into account environmental issues and all stakeholders, are all addressed in this course. Students are involved in destination development strategy (digital marketing, brands, experience, tourism development, ecological transition) through projects, case studies and meetings with professionals.

Job opportunities professionals

On completion of the Master's program, students can work, in France and abroad, within institutional structures (CRT, OT). They can also work for local players in charge of tourism promotion, and for service providers in the fields of communications, digital marketing, project development and so on. Destination development agencies, consulting firms, research consultancies and firms specializing in territorial marketing also offer opportunities for our students. They can also set up their own company or pursue a doctorate, particularly within the CIFRE framework.

Profile of the applicant
