Training objectives

The "Hospitality" pathway is designed to train future senior executives capable of working in France or abroad for organizations positioned in all markets (business, leisure, individuals, groups, etc.) and ranges (economy, lifestyle, luxury, etc.) of the commercial accommodation sector in the broadest sense (chain hotels, independent hotels, open-air hotels, resorts, private or rental concierge services, hotel-based digital start-ups, etc.). This program prepares future professionals to join an international hotel group, or to set up their own independent hotel business. The cross-disciplinary skills of project management and change management applied to the sector are also covered, through group work (business cases and business games). Finally, behavioral skills (soft skills, interpersonal skills, etc.) are honed through role-playing and speaking practice. By the end of the course, students will have mastered the various concepts and management skills required in the sector, such as running a hotel establishment or developing and strategically managing a service/establishment or network. They will also be trained in the concepts of experience, and have genuine skills in finance and revenue optimization, human resources management and managerial transition, as well as skills in ecological transition management and marketing.

Job opportunities professionals

Career opportunities focus on sales, finance and management control, human resources management (HRM), quality management, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and marketing (including digital). They also cover the entrepreneurial dimension and innovation, providing the fundamentals and support needed to set up a hotel business. Positions on offer range from General Manager, Revenue Manager, Area Manager and Service Manager (front or back office) to Owner/Operator and Consultant.

Profile of the applicant

The Master's program is open to anyone (students, adults returning to school, jobseekers) holding a bachelor's or professional degree in tourism and hospitality, management sciences, social sciences, human sciences or economics.... Curiosity and an interest in the hospitality industry, as well as a good command of English and social skills are essential.
