Study/Internship

Studying abroad

Numerous opportunities for study stays

As a student at one of the national tourism institutes in the INNTO France network, you have the opportunity to study at a foreign university for a semester or a year of international mobility! Studying abroad enables you to :

  • Perfect your language skills.
  • Develop in-depth mastery of skills specific to the tourism industry.
  • Immerse yourself in diverse cultures and enrich your understanding of the world.

The exchange program varies according to your destination:

  • non-degree-granting mobility is organized within the framework of Erasmus+ programs or bilateral exchange agreements outside Europe
  • mobility leading to diplomas, corresponding to training courses on relocated campuses or leading to the award of double diplomas in partnership with foreign universities.

These students add an international profile to their studies, while also benefiting from financial aid.

International internships

A rewarding experience

Students at INNTO France network institutes can take part in compulsory or optional internships abroad. These experiences enhance their CVs and enable them to develop intercultural skills that are in demand in the tourism sector. The institutes’ corporate relations departments help students find internships abroad. Thanks to INNTO France’s alumni network, opportunities abound, and our international alumni can help you identify the best options.

A complete international experience

Some students take a gap year to work abroad and gain professional experience. In this way, they put their course of study on hold for a year and can resume their training on their return.

Choose a course 100% in English

Want to optimize your language skills? Opt for the 100% English courses offered as part of our English-speaking training programs. INNTO institutes offer courses with international objectives. These are bachelor’s or master’s degree courses designed to give French students the English they need to work in the tourism industry. These courses are also open to international students. The aim of these courses is to enable students to integrate quickly into companies abroad, as well as into companies in France that are developing international partnerships or welcoming an international clientele. To broaden your language skills, some national tourism institutes offer a second or even third foreign language to further enhance your career prospects. The international dimension is an integral part of INNTO curricula, providing a daily window on the world.

How to apply?

Bachelor’s and Master’s students can take part in these international exchanges, provided they have a good academic level, appropriate language skills and strong motivation. The results obtained abroad are fully validated in your degree, and in certain cases, a double degree can be awarded. Would you like to find out more about our international study programs?
