The research teams in the INNTO network are multi-site, multi-disciplinary and involved in national and international networks.

EIREST – Interdisciplinary Tourism Research Team.

Link to website: https: //eirest.pantheonsorbonne.fr/ Presentation/ Research areas: The EIREST laboratory is an interdisciplinary research unit within the Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, focusing on the social, political and economic issues surrounding tourism. It explores themes such as metropolization, the link between heritage and tourism, regulation, the circulation of tourist flows and the digitization of tourism.

ESO – Espaces et Sociétés – Human and Social Sciences Research Laboratory.

Link to website: https://eso.cnrs.fr/fr Presentation/Research areas ESO is a “Unité Mixte de Recherche” under the joint supervision of the CNRS, the Universities of Angers, Caen, Le Mans, Nantes, Rennes 2 and the Institut Agro Rennes-Angers, with a historical focus on social geography. The laboratory’s scientific positioning has broadened to include the spatial dimension of social relationships and the study of inequalities in all their forms, drawing on all the disciplines represented in its collective: geography, planning, sociology, psychology, information and communication science, architecture and urban planning. The laboratory focuses on three main areas of research:

CERTOP Center for Study and Research on Work Organization and Power

CERTOP is a joint research unit of CNRS, Université Toulouse – Jean Jaurès and Université Toulouse III – Paul Sabatier, specializing in sociology, information-communication and economics. The laboratory is organized around four axes:

  • Work intelligence (INTRA),
  • Health and Food (SANTAL),
  • Ecological Transitions. Risks, Innovations, Tourism (TERNOV),
  • Public and Procurement (PUMA)

DICEN-IDF – Information and Communication Devices for the Digital Age. Website link:https://www.dicen-idf.org/equipe/ Presentation/ Research areas The Dicen-IDF laboratory, Paris, Ile-de-France, is a multi-tutelle research unit (EA 7339) between the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, the Université Gustave Eiffel and the Université Paris-Nanterre. This grouping creates a significant unit in the field of Information and Communication Sciences in the Île-de-France region. The laboratory is organized around four themes and a dedicated project:

GRANEM (Groupe de Recherche ANgevin en Économie et Management)

Presentation/Research areas The GRANEM is a multidisciplinary research team (economics and management) at the University of Angers, attached to the CNRS Federation n°2042 TEPP (Théorie et Evaluation des Politiques Publiques).

Three lines of research are developed within this laboratory: Line 1 – Food, Environmental and Organizational Challenges Line 2 – Tourism, Culture and Digital Issues Line 3 – Strategic Mutations, Risks and Financial Sustainability

IREGE – Institute for Research in Management and Economics

Presentation/Research areas IREGE is the management science and economics research laboratory of the Université Savoie Mont Blanc. IREGE’s work is organized around an overarching theme of “Environmental choices & innovations”, which is broken down into two main multidisciplinary areas:

  • Environment, Consumer, sustainable, Tourism
  • Innovation and organizational development

LVMT – City Mobility Transport Laboratory.

Link to website: https: //www.lvmt.fr/ Presentation/ Research areas The LVMT is a joint research unit of the Université Gustave Eiffel and the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. It deals with the interactions between urban territories, transport and mobility (daily, tourist and residential). Research is conducted at the intersection of urban planning, geography, economics, sociology, anthropology and engineering sciences. Three lines of research are developed within this laboratory: Line 1 “Practices and representations”, Line 2 “Actors’ strategies and public action”, Line 3 “Urban planning and territories”.

GIS Etudes Touristiques

Link to website: https://gisetudestouristiques.fr A large number of research laboratories, and through them teachers and researchers in the INNTO France network, participate in the GIS Etudes Touristiques. This GIS is supported by the University of Angers and led by ESTHUA Institut National de Tourisme-INNTO France. Launched on May 6, 2019, it aims to structure, strengthen and promote tourism research.

Training and careers observatory

The observatory within INNTO France is also a means of specializing research within the institutes in the areas of training, work and careers.
