The Bachelor's degree in Tourism will enable you to build up an intellectual baggage of academic and technical knowledge around the sector's activities. In the second and third years of the degree, you'll have the opportunity to discover the professional world, in France or abroad, by completing a 3-month internship. If you wish, and if you are accepted, this year will also be an opportunity to spend a semester abroad.

The tourism sectors are rich and varied. Throughout your training, we'll support you in defining and consolidating your professional project. General culture, professional and personal experience will enable you to enter the job market with confidence. The diversity of the courses, including sustainable development and CSR, will help you prepare for the expectations of recruiters.

On completion of this course, you'll be ready to start your professional career or go on to a Master's degree.

Training objectives

The aim of the tourism bachelor's degree is to provide students with all the academic knowledge and professional skills they need to succeed and develop in these sectors:

  • solid knowledge of the tourism sector: its history, its players, its challenges... Public tourism development structures, companies and services linked to travel and leisure, inclusive associations.
  • know-how linked to the operational management (technical, financial and commercial) of establishments at a time of digitization and the deployment of CSR policies in a context of globalization.
  • fluency in two foreign languages and computer skills.
  • the essential interpersonal skills (written and oral communication techniques, etc.) needed to be in tune with the professional world.

  • design and marketing of tours and stays, sightseeing itineraries, tourism products and services
  • middle management (department head, deputy)

These jobs are available in tourist offices and tourist information offices (France and abroad), nature parks, tourism departments of chambers of agriculture/chambers of commerce, tourist sites (theme parks/animal parks, castles, caves...), sports and/or outdoor activities, physical or online travel and incoming agencies, tour operators, reservation platforms and centers, transport companies... in the private, public and non-profit sectors.

Profile of the applicant

A sense of service, initiative, open-mindedness and a good general knowledge are essential qualities for success in this training program.
