The Institut de Recherche et d'Études Supérieures du Tourisme's Master's degree in Tourism Management and Development is designed to train students for professions requiring professional expertise in the fields of tourism and heritage. The two-year Master's program also includes a research component, with students writing a dissertation on a topic of their choice.

Profile of the applicant

The Master's program is open primarily to students with a bachelor's degree in Art History or Archaeology, or a dual degree in Law and Art History. Students from other SHS bachelor's degrees may also apply if they have taken courses in art history, heritage and/or tourism during their studies, or if they have professional experience in one of these fields. The program is also open to students who have validated their prior learning (validation des acquis professionnels / validation des acquis de l'expérience / validation d'études supérieures). Direct access to M2 is only possible if the applicant's academic and/or professional background is equivalent, in terms of acquired skills, to the 2 semesters of M1 training.
